Out of the machinery of today’s best pop/electronic dance music comes new recording artist/producer Anthony Sass.  It’s a dose of Europop and J-Pop fusion blended into the hottest electro/dance/pop sounds you’ve come to love from this generation.  It’s rare to find someone so eclectic in their music sound and talent, and Sass brings it to the table in a blur of innovative songs that will leave you dancing where you stand and wanting more while getting you to dig into your inner-most desires.

Anthony Sass comes from the city of sin and lights, Las Vegas.  After years of school and church choirs starting at the age of 6, he got the idea that performing on stage was where he belonged.  He was the type of kid who got all dressed up in the coolest threads he could find and rock out into a fake microphone to Michael Jackson’s biggest hits for family and friend get-togethers.  His first brush with real stage performance was in a 5th grade talent show, where he performed a song by his inspirations and heroes, Ace of Base.  From that moment on, he knew the spotlight was his home.  After starring in high school musicals like “Grease” and “The Sound of Music,” Sass moved out to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams – where no music career could be found at the time.  After only two club performances with his single “Body Groove” and getting into ASCAP, he went home and back to school, but never gave up that dream.  Now, with college under his belt and time waiting for the right moment to strike back at the music industry, he’s come into his own and is ready to take on the pop scene with a new outlook and a new identity.  Grasping the true theatrical being within, Sass promises to show everyone out there that anyone can rise up and be who they want to be.

Four tracks are the legacy so far, available on iTunes and CDBaby.com.  A full album is near release and expected to hit sometime this Spring.  Each track is heavily dance-influenced, all have beats you’ll want to break it down to, and all co-produced and written by Anthony.  “The Key” is a powerful song about that feeling someone can put over you – the idea that someone with a first glance has stolen your heart and made you more than a little hot.  “Fake *** Friend” is an emotionally-strong song written about that friend we’ve all had that really is a backstabber, but hid it from you until they were found out.  “Work It” is a dark, memorable song about the struggles he’s faced trying to make it in the business, and “Why Don’t You Look At Me” is about when you’ve spotted that hottie in a club and you want them so badly to notice you, but you just don’t get why they won’t – we’ve all been there.

“You know, I’ve hit some really down times a few years ago, but I haven’t given up.  My dream is to get heard and really hit the pop music scene around the world – being the dork I am and having people want to hear what I’ve got to sing.”  Anthony is driven by his past troubles making it in the industry and is destined to succeed, and you can feel it in every song he sings.  “I’ve learned that by not giving up, I can succeed in whatever I want to accomplish.  And damn, I’m going to accomplish this around the globe, just being my quirky, somewhat crazy self.”
